Opportunity mapping

Brief: Global manufacturer sought to find an outsourcing partner for part of its critical production infrastructure. Outsourcing was a politically charged strategy.
Solution:  Over an intense 4-month period, established two in country and three external intelligence networks, blending in-country data with externally derived market and technical data. First identified an initial list of 135 potential partner companies and then reduced this list to just six viable candidates. Finally physically audited of all six without them knowing who the client was, or what its interest was in them.
Result: Client provided with comprehensive commercial and technical data upon which it was subsequently able to rely.
