INTELLIGENCE CONTROL ASSESSMENTS
Audits of the internal intelligence-processing organisation, to improve recognition levels and query control
Brief: A legal department needed to collate and process a large amount of paper-based evidence to build a case and launch a complex litigation action as plaintiff.
Solution: Reviewed internal data resources. Established an information capture and collation system that made the development of casework more effective. Established a method for assessing inbound information and cross-matching new information with old.
Result: Client was able to draw on more evidence - and more relevant evidence - than it would have done relying upon its more traditional file management system.
Brief: Client recognised that it was not receiving adequately qualified intelligence from the firm’s information feeder network.
Solution: Audited central and regional functions to identify information ownership issues and process opportunities. Then developed a training and implementation programme to resolve problems and make the management and qualification of intelligence far more comprehensive, reliable and efficient.
Result: Higher quality intelligence made available in much better time.
